RIGHT NOW.John Deere is an equal opportunity employer, including disabled & veterans.Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - East Moline Function: Operations (CA) Title: Material Coordinator - 124495 Onsite/Remote: Onsite PositionYour ResponsibilitiesAs a Material Coordinator for John Deere Harvester Works, located in East Moline, IL you will:Work critical shortage reports and audit material to ensure part availability, while utilizing SAP and additional tools to support aspects of the material delivery processCommunicate and work closely with several functional areas including operations, engineering, supply management, and material flow to root cause and correct material shortages, inventory discrepancies, reporting and consumption issuesCoordinate and support engineering changes on the shop floorActively support the Continuous Improvement (CI) process and shop floor initiativesVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this positionWhat Skills You Need1+ year of experience with Microsoft ExcelDemonstrated ability to multitask and work within a team in a fast-paced atmosphereData analysis and problem-solving skillsAbility to work overtime, both daily and/or on the weekendWhat Makes You Stand OutExperience with SAP, or a similar inventory tracking systemKnowledge of Manufacturing, Warehousing, Order Fulfillment, Supply Management, and/or Material Flow processesEducationIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Two-year college degree, preferably in Business or Supply Management or equivalent related work experienceWhat You'll GetAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
