Local Travel Physical Therapist
Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in La Quinta, CA, earning up to $2,700 per week. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments and movement disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve strength, mobility, and function
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and recovery strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and facility guidelines
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Utilize evidence-based practice techniques to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher-level degree in Physical Therapy (PT)
- Active California Physical Therapist License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Preferred Skills:
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate Degree (DPT) in Physical Therapy
- Previous physical therapy or healthcare experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
