Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day-shift assignment requiring ARRT(N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification and NYS licensure.

Details

• Nuclear Medicine department within a community hospital setting
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 40 hours scheduled per week with 36 hours guaranteed
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Uses GE nuclear medicine equipment
• EPIC EMR required and McKesson PACS used

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• CT experience a plus
• Venipuncture experience required
• ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• NY state license required if applicable
• Compact license not accepted for this position
• Must have own vehicle
• Candidates must complete a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance

Additional Information

• Previous travel experience strongly encouraged
• No block scheduling considered for this position
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted; no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• Non-billable orientation is 8 hours
• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
• No more than 5 days of requested time off accepted, and must be submitted at time of upload
• Candidates residing in certain nearby NY counties will not be considered for this assignment
• Permanent address must match driver's license or state ID and will be validated during compliance review
