Experienced Catering Manager to lead catering events concessions and conference center operations at a university campus.
What youll do
- Lead catering operations from client events to campus deliveries transportation equipment logistics and the vehicle fleet
- Oversee arts center events and concessions including the Concessions Supervisor
- Manage the conference center : event bookings tours and onsite event support
- Develop menus and manage costing to balance quality and profitability
- Recruit train coach and lead supervisors and frontline staff
- Grow training programs for servers cashiers utility and chefs
- Enforce standards for HACCP NSF sanitation safety checklists uniforms and pest control
- Resolve guest issues and build strong client relationships
- Run weekly huddles and support safety customer service and ambassador programs
What you bring
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years of management and 3 years in catering or events
- Catering knowledge plus menu development costing and data analysis
- HACCP and NSF knowledge (ServSafe Manager a plus)
- Strong client service and team leadership skills
- Availability for events including evenings and weekends
