• Experience: 2+ years of OR/perioperative RN experience including robotics, neuro-spine, transplant, and general surgeries

What You'll Do:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy OR with 13 general use ORs
• Circulate and assist with robotic, neuro-spine, transplant, urology, bariatric, and general surgeries
• Support scrub functions (if experienced) and handle complex case types including robotic surgeries with Da Vinci system
• Assist with patient monitoring, preparation, and post-op care
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical techs, and physicians to ensure smooth procedures
• Maintain a high standard of safety and infection control during surgeries
• Pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or state where eligible
• Minimum 2 years OR/perioperative experience, including robotic surgery, neuro, transplant, or general cases
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and call shifts
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude

About the Assignment:
This perioperative team specializes in a wide variety of complex surgical procedures within a dynamic hospital setting. The RN will support all phases of surgery, from prep to post-op, in a team-oriented environment focused on patient safety and quality care. Orientation includes hospital and departmental training, with a one-week period tailored to your experience.
