Database Management Specialist

Responsibilities & Qualifications We are seeking Database Management Specialist - COMSEC / KMI for the COMSEC IT Services contract. The Database Management Specialist will support database and data-management activities associated with COMSEC operations, secure communications, controlled-accountability systems, and Key Management Infrastructure. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience 5+ years of experience in COMSEC operations, secure communications, and controlled-accountability systems Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable. Certifications Security+ certification or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. KMI certification. Clearance Active Top Secret clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with COMSEC accountability databases. Experience with SQL and enterprise database platforms. Experience with KMI operational workflows. Experience supporting classified data-management environments RESPONSIBILITIES Administer and support databases used by COMSEC and controlled-accountability systems. Maintain database integrity, availability, security, and accuracy. Support KMI operational and data-management requirements. Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and technical issues. Support data reconciliation, validation, reporting, and audit readiness. Assist with database backup, recovery, patching, maintenance, and lifecycle activities. Support interfaces between databases and COMSEC applications. Maintain accurate and traceable accountability data. Support investigation and resolution of data discrepancies. Develop and maintain database procedures and technical documentation. Coordinate with developers, systems integrators, cybersecurity personnel, and operations staff. WAGE INFORMATION Target salary range: $120,000 - $170,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
