Our team members exemplify the core values of Service, Compassion, Respect, Excellence, and Friendliness at all times to our residents, each other and everyone we meet.Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our culinary team as a Utility Worker that performs a number of kitchen activities including dishwashing, pot and pan washing, general cleaning duties, and storing food and non-food supplies. This full-time or part-time position offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and no late nights, with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour. Ready to jump into a role that matters?Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing each day as a Utility Worker:Sets up dishes and pot washing areas.Scrapes, scrubs and prewashes pots, pans, utensils and dishes.Loads and runs all items through the dish machine.Got what it takes to shine in this role? Here are a few of the qualifications we are looking for:High school diploma preferred. Must have the ability to read, write and speak English, understand measurements, make basic conversions, perform basic arithmetic, and follow basic oral and written instructions.Some bussing, dishwashing, general cleaning and/or stocking experience but will train.
