Responsibilities Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit. Order and maintain inventory controls, ensuring product quality and supervising the Bakery team. Execute merchandise rotation and build displays. Monitor incoming cases for damaged items. Ensure excellent customer service and product quality. Unload and sort store deliveries; operate and maintain deli equipment. Enforce all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ensure team compliance. Support a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications Minimum 18 years old with at least two years of retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience. Dependable, flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. Outgoing, friendly personality with a positive attitude and strong customer interaction skills. Strong communication skills, capable of giving and receiving direction in a team environment. Must be able to answer phones and take special orders. Perform general housekeeping: clean and sanitize work area. Operate and use knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; accurately weigh and label products. Stand up to 3 hours continuously per shift, with capacity to lift and transfer items up to 40 lb. over specified distances.
