Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX designer with a strong emphasis on UX design to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 10 to 15 years of experience in the field, demonstrating a deep understanding of user centered design principles and methodologies. This role requires a creative thinker who can translate complex ideas into intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the UX design process from concept to execution, ensuring a user centered approach throughout.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, applying them to enhance user experiences.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall growth of the design team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in UX Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user centered design projects.
• Expertise in user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles and best practices.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with front end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Experience in designing for mobile applications and responsive web design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong focus on UX.
• A portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of user centered design and showcases relevant projects.
