Fabrication Manager

An established structural steel fabrication business is looking for an experienced Pre-Fabrication Manager to lead a key department within its manufacturing operation. This is an opportunity to take ownership of production performance, lead experienced teams and drive improvements across equipment utilisation, manufacturing efficiency and output. The Opportunity You’ll oversee pre-fabrication and plate processing activities within a heavy fabrication environment, with responsibility for: CNC plasma and laser cutting Drilling, bevelling and plate preparation Robotic fitting and welding Machining and milling Plate rolling Blast and paint coordination Automated, BIM-linked manufacturing processes You’ll lead supervisors and production employees, overseeing safety, quality, labour planning, throughput and equipment utilisation. Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll identify bottlenecks, reduce downtime, establish meaningful KPIs and improve production flow. Why Consider It?
