Fleet Manager

Job Summary Fleet Manager overseeing a fleet of over 1200 vehicles across four western states. Responsibilities include lease procurement, vehicle registration, GPS installation, maintenance oversight, accident claims, fuel reporting, scorecard development, cost reduction, and training of administrators. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support lease renewals and oversee vehicle lease selections, signing agreements, and lease term monitoring. Procure needed vehicles for growth or replacement, plan factory orders, and manage off-lot procurements and dealer relationships. Ensure all vehicles have proper registration, safety equipment, gas cards, maintenance, and decals. Install and maintain GPS systems, load vehicle data, update software, and train personnel on software use. Support 24/7 maintenance, authorize maintenance over $1500, track via GPS software, and review monthly statements. Track monthly vehicle inspections by drivers and supervisors. Assist accident claims processing to ensure timely repair at competitive prices, reporting incidents to corporate and Fleet Response. Support gas reporting, verify gas card usage, and monitor fuel efficiency metrics. Maintain and update monthly GPS driver scorecards at state level. Implement continuous cost-reduction initiatives for the fleet. Coordinate spare vehicle relocation and compare alternative lease and fuel costs. Distribute biannual fleet summaries to branch managers for vehicle ordering. Develop and oversee branch scorecards covering accidents, driver behavior, on-time maintenance, inspections, and 5S. Process retired vehicles to receive fair market value. Train and account for Fleet Administrators at corporate and branch levels. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of fleet management experience. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Windows, and Office 365. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Sound financial decision-making related to fleet expenses and strategies, supporting a fleet valued over $50 million. In‑office position with travel to branches in CA, NV, AZ, and WA. Compensation Range $85,000 – $105,000 per year.
