Recruiter – Light Industrial Staffing

Role is located in Irvine, CA

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Recruiter to join our Light Industrial Staffing team. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and placing qualified candidates for warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, food production, and distribution positions. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting recruiting goals and providing exceptional customer service to both clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and onboard candidates for light industrial positions, including:
• • Forklift Operators
  • Warehouse Associates
  • Machine Operators
  • Assemblers
  • Shipping & Receiving Clerks
  • Production Workers
  • Material Handlers
  • Quality Inspectors
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, community outreach, and networking.
• Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews.
• Verify employment eligibility and complete new hire documentation.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding requirements.
• Match candidates with client job requirements and schedule interviews or start dates.
• Maintain accurate applicant records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Build and maintain relationships with current employees and clients.
• Follow up with employees after placement to ensure a successful assignment.
• Fill open job orders quickly while maintaining quality standards.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly recruiting metrics.
• Assist with employee relations, attendance issues, and assignment replacements when necessary.
• Support recruiting events, job fairs, and hiring campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of recruiting, staffing, HR, or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a staffing agency or light industrial recruiting is highly preferred.
• Strong interviewing and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
