About This Position:
Our Outpatient Pediatric Clinics provide specialized speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and audiology services in a child-friendly, family-centered environment. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll provide one-on-one, evidence-based care through 30-45 minute treatment sessions, giving you the time to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families while delivering individualized therapy. Our collaborative team partners with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, caregivers, and community resources to treat a diverse pediatric population with communication, speech, language, cognitive-communication, feeding and swallowing, and social communication disorders, as well as developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, neurological conditions, hearing impairments, and other complex diagnoses.
In this role you will be responsible for providing screening, evaluation, treatment, and education for those who demonstrate impairments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and/or swallowing. The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for adherence to and compliance with all American Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA) professional standards. The SLP is engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The SLP is expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner. About our Rehabilitation Team:
Our Rehabilitation Services team is one of the largest and most dynamic in the region. With over 700 skilled professionals dedicated to helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence through comprehensive, compassionate care. Our licensed physical, occupational, and speech therapists work closely with medical teams to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients unique needs. Beyond core therapy services, we offer a variety of specialty programs including neurological rehabilitation, vestibular and balance therapy, lymphedema management, pelvic health therapy, and oncology rehabilitation. With services spanning acute care, skilled nursing, home health, and outpatient settings, our team delivers exceptional, evidence-based care that restores function and enhances quality of life.
What This Position Requires:
Education: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competency strongly preferred but would be open to a clinical fellow.
Certification: BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support).
License: Active Florida State Speech Language Pathologist Licensure.
