YARD HELPER

Location: Nederland, TX
Pay: $17.00–$18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: Currently averaging 50–55 hours per week, including overtime and occasional weekends

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Helper to assist with daily yard and shop operations. This is a hands-on industrial position involving outdoor and shop work, equipment cleaning, material handling, general labor, and assisting the team with preparing tanks and equipment for service.

This is an entry-level support position for someone who is comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and work area.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing frac tanks, roll-off boxes, and other equipment.
• Help load, unload, move, and stage equipment and materials.
• Assist team members with basic shop and yard tasks.
• Use basic hand and power tools as directed.
• Assist with inspecting equipment for visible damage or issues and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Help with equipment preparation, servicing, and general maintenance tasks.
• Assist with filling, draining, and cleaning tanks as needed.
• Operate a forklift if experienced and authorized.
• Follow all company safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Assist with general cleanup and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a dependable work schedule and be willing to assist where needed.

Requirements

• Previous yard, warehouse, construction, industrial, or general labor experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools preferred, but willingness to learn is more important .
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license preferred/required as applicable.
• Must be comfortable performing physical labor for most of the workday.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as needed.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic are required.
• Must be able to follow directions and work safely around large equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weath
