Metal Manufacturing Associate/General Labor

Pay rate: $16.00/hour

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 6am – 4:30pm (15 minute morning break and 45 minute lunch)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Labor – Metal Fabrication team member to support our laser and press brake operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining workflow efficiency, quality standards, and a safe, organized work environment. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in producing quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove finished parts from metal sheets after laser cutting and/or stamping operations
• Assist team members within the laser and press brake departments as needed
• Perform dimensional inspections to verify parts meet specifications
• Identify, detect, and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor
• Follow all safety rules, quality standards, and company procedures

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals (essential)
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Position is physically demanding and requires manual handling of metal parts
• Must be able to safely perform tasks in an active manufacturing environment
