Laboratory Technician

Pay Rate Low: $23.00 | Pay Rate High: $25.50
Jump start your science career in a fast moving lab where your work directly supports lifesaving testing! The Laboratory Technician will support critical testing that contributes directly to patient safety and public health. Recent graduates with degrees in Biology or Chemistry are strongly encouraged to apply!

Location: Centennial, Colorado

Schedule: 3rd Shift | SUN-WED 10:00 PM-8:30 AM

Training: Conducted on Day Shift Schedule



Pay:

• Base rate: $23/hr
• Up to $25.50/hr on weekdays with shift differential
• Up to $27/hr on Saturdays and Sundays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and calculate results across specialties.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment; troubleshoot basic issues.
• Prepare and evaluate reagents and media according to established protocols.
• Conduct quality control checks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Perform routine testing and instrument maintenance and support assay validations.
• Verify test results using established techniques and principles.
• Monitor quality assurance and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Use laboratory information systems to report results accurately.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related scientific field.
• 0-1 year of relevant laboratory experience; strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to train on day shift and commit to one year on 3rd shift.
• Demonstrated adaptability, teamwork, and eagerness to learn.
