Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Winchester, Virginia. The center is designed to facilitate a variety of therapeutic interventions in a welcoming atmosphere. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with an expected 40-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop personalized treatment plans that adhere to the best practices in physical therapy.
• Implement diverse treatment modalities across multiple specializations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine, ensuring each session is tailored to the individual needs of the patient.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and actively contribute to improving the operational effectiveness of the practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices in all interactions.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic care and educational support to patients and their families at the rehabilitation center, ensuring all treatments align with the physician's directives.
• Meet established utilization goals while consistently contributing to the overall business objectives of the center.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Ernest Physical Therapy, you will engage with a diverse patient population encompassing various age groups and conditions. This includes athletes recovering from injuries, children with developmental challenges, and adults facing post-surgical or chronic pain challenges. Our holistic approach ensures that every patient receives individualized care, aiming to restore their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Valid Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) and active state license in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside proficiency in word processing and computer applications pertinent to healthcare.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical setting, especially within rehabilitation or outpatient therapy environments.
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with patients, ensuring they exceed their functional goals.

Compensation and Benefits
