The Weekend Hotel Front Desk Agent provides welcoming, efficient service to leisure travelers, business travelers, and groups and events during weekend shifts. Reporting to the Duty Manager, this role manages routine desk coverage, operates independently, handles opening and closing responsibilities, and provides emergency escalation support while using hotel-specific systems, including StayPMS.

 

Responsibilities

• Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and updates in StayPMS and other hotel-specific systems.
• Process guest payments and handle front desk cash transactions.
• Respond to guest communications and front desk inquiries with professionalism.
• Resolve guest complaints and escalate emergencies or complex issues to the Duty Manager.
• Provide independent weekend shift operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Support leisure travelers, business travelers, and groups and events with attentive service.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in hotel front desk operations.
• Cash-handling experience.
• Strong telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Conflict-resolution skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
