Product Copywriter

Overview CWI Gifts is looking for a creative individual who loves words and can put them to clever use as a product copywriter for our gift and home décor wholesale business. In addition to being a skilled and accurate writer, this individual is efficient and focused, keeping deadlines in mind while writing. Candidates enjoy the thrill and challenge of creating engaging copy describing diverse types of gifts and home décor products including florals, wall décor, candles, seasonal ornaments, and primitive dolls. At CWI Gifts, we focus on offering our wholesale customers engaging shopping experiences through both print catalogs and ecommerce. Hands-on interaction with products and samples enables our product copywriters to accurately assess and clearly describe product features that motivate purchases. The Product Copywriter plays an essential role on our marketing team as they work alongside fellow creatives. Responsibilities/Duties Write and publish engaging product copy for use on websites and in print catalogs Follow our brand tone, voice, and other company guidelines Help maintain and organize e-commerce websites Communicate product specifications clearly Understand and apply keyword and SEO principles Support customer service and sales teams with accurate product information About CWI CWI is a second-generation, family-owned wholesale business within the primitive and rustic gift and home décor industry. The candidate will work alongside our catalog designers, photographers, and website teams to ensure all marketing needs are met. This is an in-office position with limited remote work opportunities. Experience Candidates for this position should have at least two years of professional experience in copywriting and/or ecommerce.
