Prevention Consultant Collaborates with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, webinars, assemblies, and more. Assists with programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes, and evaluation of services to the target population. Position Responsibilities Prepare and deliver community education programs to staff, students, the public, professionals, and volunteers. Ensure fidelity and compliance with all programs and trainings. Develop and implement assessments and surveys necessary to track and measure program impact and outcomes. Actively pursue, represent the agency, and participate in primary prevention speaking engagements. Manage and maintain program schedules and grant requirements. Participate and coordinate Community Health Fairs, open houses, information sessions, and agency-wide events as assigned. Ensure all training and curriculums are updated and maintained to support program fidelity. Required Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to perform work responsibilities in various locations. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be sensitive, flexible, and responsive to gender, race, ethnicity, socio-economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation, or any other special needs when communicating with staff and/or clients. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and possess basic computer skills. Must be available to attend weekend and evening meetings and events as required. Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Must possess the time management skills necessary to organize and manage multiple priorities and tasks. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and New Jersey. Must serve as a representative of Prevention Links, upholding the agency’s expectations of excellence and collaboration. Must maintain an understanding of all programs, grants, and projects offered by Prevention Links. Must adhere to Prevention Links administrative, reporting, and record‑keeping guidelines to support accurate documentation of activities. Must participate in all agency-required training. Must be able to speak and write English proficiently. Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time. Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a computer. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Must possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License and independent transportation. Must complete all other duties and tasks as requested by the CEO or Division Director. Job descriptions can be revised and updated periodically. Supervisory Relationship Reports directly to Prevention Supervisor. Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services related field. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in a non‑profit, social service environment developing or implementing community‑based services, prevention programs, or other human service programs. Experience implementing evidence‑based practice models and related training and coaching materials according to policies and procedures. Travel Domestic travel required for this full‑time position. Local, independent travel required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation method. Position requires frequent travel within and outside Hudson County. All travel mileage will be reimbursed. Evening and Weekend Availability Must be available evenings and weekends for meetings, outreach, and program coverage.
