Senior Cost Analyst, Manufacturing (115K-120K), Hybrid

LHH is looking to fill a Senior Cost Analyst role with Fort Worth based company. This manufacturing company has been around for almost 70 years. Th e Senior Cost Analys t is responsible for oversight/audit of the standard and actual labor and overhead in the Ross ERP system. Calculate pricing of the new and existing products by determining various cost components including labor and overhead rates. Providing meaningful reports to operations based on the actual performance data obtained from Factory MES systems This position pays 115K-120K+Bonus and is in office ONLY 3 days per week post trainin g . Responsibilities: Review all jobs ready for close and investigate variances that are outside tolerances. Final close all jobs on a daily basis Review daily labor allocated to jobs vs hours recorded through the payroll timekeeping system to make sure that all hours are being properly accounted for Make sure that bulk ingredients are properly accounted for, so that inventory and spoilage can be properly recorded Calculate pricing for new products including determining machine and labor rates based on pack and batch sizes Coordinate with operations/floor managers on process flow, scrap and other production related factors impacting pricing Assist in existing products price review and new pricing rollout Do weekly random cycle count of inventory items to check the accuracy of inventory balance Obtain and analyze data from Factory MES and provide meaningful reports to operations Analyze and update labor standard rates into the ERP system Prepare daily and monthly labor productivity reports Other duties as assigned by the controller Requirements BBA in Accounting or finance from an appropriately accredited university 3-5 years' experience in accounting with 2 years in manufacturing Knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
