Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting. Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes in health status. Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders. Recognize and respond promptly to changes in resident condition. Develop, implement, and update individualized resident care plans. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely electronic nursing documentation. Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Communicate effectively with residents, families, and fellow team members. Promote resident safety, infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred but not required. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities. Compassionate, dependable, and committed to exceptional resident care.
