Reporting to the Senior Ecommerce Architect, this role leads the design and development of backend ecommerce solutions, oversees development teams, and supports operational reliability. You will translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions, guide feature development, and ensure best practices across architecture, quality, and delivery. Success in this role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and the ability to lead teams through complex, time‑sensitive challenges.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable ecommerce solutions using Java and SAP Commerce (Hybris)Own platform reliability, performance, and scalability, including monitoring and resolving production and support issuesTranslate business and functional requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plansDeliver new features and enhancements with a focus on security, performance, and reliabilityIntegrate ecommerce platforms with SAP ERP, payment gateways, CRM systems, and other third‑party servicesConduct code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standards, best practices, and quality guidelinesMentor and guide development teams, supporting skill development and consistent delivery standardsCollaborate with architects and peers to define implementation processes, quality gates, and development standardsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvementMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field5+ years of experience in ecommerce and backend software development using JavaStrong hands‑on experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris), including architecture, data models, and core modulesExperience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecturesSolid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and enterprise development best practicesProven ability to lead development teams and coordinate across IT and business stakeholdersStrong communication skills and experience operating in high‑pressure, production‑support environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or similar environmentsExposure to front‑end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Node.jsKnowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deploymentsSAP Commerce Cloud certificationBenefits include:Flexible work hours/hybrid work environmentMedical, dental, vision and life insuranceCompetitive holiday and vacation time off programRetirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.Discounted products and an EAP upon hire and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of servicePlease be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.Find more on: Electrolux Group North America: Electrolux Group Careers: Consumer Products, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
