Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting within a Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond to a wide range of emergent and critical patient presentations
• Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as required
• Perform triage and manage patient flow in a fast-paced environment with patient ratios typically ranging from 1:5–6, with potential to reach 1:8 during high-volume periods and holidays
• Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records

Required Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN License (compact license not accepted; must be active by start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS (AHA preferred), PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required — certifications may not be pending beyond contract start date
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Availability to work 3 weekends (Friday–Sunday) per 4-week schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC certification preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration
• Triage experience in an emergency room setting
