License: Required Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice
Certifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per policy Required
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment Required
- Venipuncture certification Preferred
- Advanced Certification in the modality of CT Preferred


Must-Have: Current Epic experience


Description:
Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment.
Produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
Images are used to diagnose medical conditions.
Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images.
Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information.
Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to regulations.
Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
Manages supply inventory.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Organizationally, there is a commitment to the safety and well-being of associates and patients.
Vaccinations are required as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable.
