Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our innovative Special Education Program in Safford, Arizona. This role is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility while still facilitating direct engagement with students and educational staff. As part of our virtual school facility, our LCSW will collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and support personnel through digital platforms, ensuring that all students receive comprehensive mental health support regardless of their geographic location. The work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekend responsibilities to meet the needs of our student population.

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments for students with varying special needs, ensuring each assessment is tailored to the individual.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address students' mental health challenges, emotional well-being, and successful integration into the school community.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy tailored for students with ASD, ADHD, and trauma histories.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that promote personal growth, improve emotional regulation, and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborating with educational staff, including special education teachers and speech and occupational therapists, to enhance the holistic care provided to students.

• Providing crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support for students in distress.
\n
• Educating students and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources to strengthen their understanding and coping mechanisms.

• Maintaining precise documentation of assessments and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Actively participating in team meetings and case conferences to discuss student progress, treatment efficacy, and interprofessional collaboration.

• Staying informed on current laws, regulations, and ethical standards pertinent to social work and mental health services.

The primary focus of this role is on students with special needs, each requiring tailored mental health support and intervention. By engaging with students who exhibit behaviors related to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, and trauma, our LCSW plays a crucial role in enhancing their educational experiences and overall well-being. This entails building trust, fostering resilience, and creating safe spaces for students to explore and navigate their emotional challenges.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Arizona.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, including the latest evidence-based treatment modalities and trauma-informed care techniques.

• Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments and developing comprehensive treatment plans, as well as delivering therapy in individual and group formats.

• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.

• Strong judgment and commitment to upholding professional boundaries and ethical practices.

We prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience in a school or community mental health setting. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly desirable as it supports effective documentation and case management. Additionally, experience in collaborating within a multidisciplinary team is vital for delivering integrated care to students.
