What You Will Contribute To OHM Advisors As a GIS Specialist, you will support impactful projects across engineering, planning, architecture, and water resources. You will work closely with a collaborative GIS team to support field data collection, GIS database development, and mapping efforts that help advance communities and improve infrastructure. This role offers hands‑on experience, mentorship, and exposure toemerginggeospatial technologies. Your Responsibilities Assistwith developing andmaintainingGIS databases for utility management and other infrastructure projects using ArcGIS Pro. Assistin the design and development of GIS database schemas. Design and launch public facing Esri ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGIS StoryMaps. Utilize ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to support a variety of project needs. Participate in project meetings and professional development opportunities. Represent the firm professionally when interacting with internal teams, clients, and the public. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Planning or related field, with a focus on GIS preferred. Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. Proven work building and launching ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGIS StoryMaps. Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning, and community development. Experience creating map products with an understanding of basic cartographic principles. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, andeagernessto learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to work onsite at one of our OHM locations in OH or PA.
