Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays. Float required to different units within the organization as needed.

Highlights:

• Specialize in abdominal transplant care including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants, hepatology, and GI bleed management
• Epic charting system experience required
• Adult patient population with complex medical and surgical needs
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary team support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers welcome; minimum 1 year of PCU experience required

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care/step-down nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care, IV insulin protocols, port management, PICC line care, and non-invasive airway management
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references: at least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
