Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week with rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Highlights:

• Specialized neurological PCU environment serving stroke patients and other neurological diagnoses, including post-craniotomy and traumatic brain injury care
• 4:1 patient ratio on nights to support quality care delivery
• Epic EMR system utilized for clinical documentation
• 13-week travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period
• Float required within the health system to support patient care needs
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and more

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/stepdown nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• First-time travelers accepted; candidates with only 1 year of experience subject to manager review
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Experience with blood product administration, stroke care, post-TPA protocols, heparin protocols, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and neurological assessment
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager or formal leader)
• Must complete urgent Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
