About the Position

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4:1 patient ratio. Float within organization required. Some weekend coverage required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule). Call required.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care, stepdown, or intermediate care experience
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, oxygen administration, isolation precautions, peripheral line care, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Ability to float to different units within the organization as needed
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Candidates must be responsive and cooperative with expedited credentialing process, including urgent Ohio fingerprinting requirements
