We are experiencing significant growth and are looking for full-time, skillful forklift operators to join our dynamic team in our North Bergen, NJ location.ResponsibilitiesUnload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned placesLocate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipmentIdentify damages and report shortages or quality deficienciesTransport raw materials to production workstationsInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenanceKeep updated records of inventory and activity logsComply with company policies and legal guidelinesDriving around warehouses, storage spaces and other like facilities as neededHelp maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilitiesRequirementsSkillsResponsible individual with proven experience as forklift operatorAttention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipmentExcellent physical condition and coordination (including the ability to reach above your head, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary)Goal-oriented to ensure material and products will always be at the right location to achieve maximum efficiencyValid certification to operate forkliftsHigh school diplomaMust be at least 18 years of ageMust have valid I-9 credentials (i.e. valid passport, drivers license, state-issued id, social security card, etc..)OtherWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
