About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Birmingham-based team. In this in-person role, you'll support financial accuracy and reporting, playing a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records. What You'll Do

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  
• Record and classify financial transactions in accordance with company policies
  
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
  
• Investigate and resolve bank discrepancies and ledger variances
  
• Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and complete financial records
  

Ideal Candidate

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
  
• Comfortable working in-person and as part of a collaborative team
  
• Adaptable, tech-savvy, and eager to learn and grow
  

Preferred Experience:

• Bookkeeping background
  
• Hands-on experience with accounting software
  
• Performing bank reconciliations
  
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Intercompany transactions
