Entry Level IT Support Technician

Salary: $40,000 - 40,000 per year Requirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years of technical experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Degree in Networking, Computer Science, or Information Technology preferred
• Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check with fingerprinting
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Willingness to work from both our Morris and Ottawa locations as needed
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing or kneeling for extended periods
• Proficient in Windows 11 operating systems
• Flexibility to work varied hours
• A+ certification and Network+ certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment

• Diagnose and resolve issues with computer hardware, software, and networks
• Install new computers and associated peripheral devices
• Utilize appropriate methods to troubleshoot problems
• Install and set up Windows operating systems
• Upgrade and configure Microsoft server operating systems
• Deploy and manage virtual server environments using Hyper-V
• Set up and manage network environments utilizing pfSense and Ubiquiti equipment
• Install, configure, and enhance networking hardware and software
• Establish user accounts on both servers and desktops
• Modify user accounts on servers or desktops as necessary
• Set up security protocols to restrict network access by specific users or device types
• Configure application software for database access or external system connectivity
