This role supports patient recovery by delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions while ensuring compliance with all clinical, documentation, and safety standards.**Key Responsibilities*** Deliver skilled physical therapy services to patients with injuries, disabilities, or functional limitations.* Implement treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, functional training, modalities, and patient education.* Accurately document daily treatments and patient progress in compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory guidelines.* Monitor patient responses and report significant changes to the Physical Therapist and referring physician.* Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to support independence and recovery.* Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered clinical environment.* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.**Qualifications*** Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.* Active PTA license/registration in the state of practice.* Experience treating acute and chronic conditions preferred.* Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.* Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet patient care demands.* Proficiency in English (additional languages a plus).*HSSM is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer that values and encourages diversity.*
