X-Ray Tech
The position is for an X-Ray Tech specializing in diagnostic imaging. The shift is Monday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The hospital treats mainly transplant and cancer adult patients. The X-ray area has 8-10 technicians who rotate weekly through outpatient ortho, surgery, fluoroscopy, and portable X-rays. Call requirements include weekdays from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Two on-call shifts during the week and two on-call shifts for weekends will be assigned monthly. Daily responsibilities may include performing various X-ray procedures, such as abdomen, chest, and extremity imaging. Additional requirements include COVID-19 and flu vaccinations. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role.
