Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation
  
  
• The Senior Accountant will produce accurate and timely monthly financial statements
  
  
• The Senior Accountant will support full-cycle accounting, including month-end close and account reconciliations
  
  
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances or discrepancies
  
  
• Assist with process improvements and system enhancements within Sage Intacct
  
  
• The Senior Accountant will support reporting, audits, and ad hoc accounting projects as needed
  
  

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant Role

• 3-5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience required
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
  
  
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
  
  
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP system preferred
  
  
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills
  
  
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team
