Geriatric Program Manager

Job Overview The Geriatrics Program Manager is responsible for overseeing Kent Hospital’s various geriatric-focused accreditations and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and rules as they relate to the geriatric population. This includes the development of these programs, coordination of staff across disciplines and operating units, collaborating with education, management of ongoing compliance with program quality indicators and participation requirements, coordination of ongoing multidisciplinary team meetings, and acting as a liaison between the hospital, geriatrics, emergency room, and surgical practice(s). The program manager will also work with CNE physician relations staff, community physicians, and CNE marketing to assist in the promotion of the programs to all physicians in Rhode Island. Job Qualifications and Specification Bachelor’s required, Master’s preferred (Field of study: Healthcare related; nursing preferred) Experience participating in and leading quality improvement or process improvement initiatives in the hospital setting Program or project management experience or certification.
