RN Supervisor - Long Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

The RN Supervisor will oversee the nursing staff on evenings, nights, and weekends at a Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facility with a total of 300 beds across 6 units. This role is crucial for managing patient care and supervising nursing processes while providing support and resources for floor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.

Schedule

8-hour night shifts from 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a building supervisor overseeing nursing staff across multiple units.
• Monitor changes in resident conditions and coordinate with medical personnel as necessary.
• Schedule outside services, including lab and portable x-ray.
• Facilitate communications with physicians and nurse practitioners after hours.
• Support the administration of medications and treatments, including central line and chest tube management.
• Assist in patient assessments and maintain documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License required.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) and skilled nursing practices is preferred.
• Knowledge of wound measuring is necessary; staging to be performed by NPs weekly.
