Must-Have: Completion of Hematology/Oncology Fellowship, Clean Malpractice and Licensing History, Experienced physicians only (new graduates not accepted)

Description: The Division Head Hematology/Oncology will provide strategic leadership and academic oversight. They will ensure clinical excellence across the Hematology/Oncology Division and Cancer Service Line. Responsibilities include executive-level leadership and operational oversight for the division. The role involves serving as Associate Medical Director for the Cancer Service Line. The individual will guide systemwide cancer care strategy. Responsibilities also include leading and overseeing more than 40 full-time academic hematology/oncology physicians. Management of strategic oversight of annual Gross Patient Revenue attributed to the division is required. The candidate will direct clinical, academic, and research programs within hematology and oncology services. Oversight of integration and expansion of oncology services across multiple locations is necessary. The leader will provide oversight to the Bone Marrow Transplant Program and systemwide oncology services. Collaboration with leadership to align strategic initiatives is essential. There will be a focus on advancing cancer research initiatives and expanding investigator-initiated clinical trials. The candidate will mentor early-career investigators and support academic development among faculty. The role includes promoting multidisciplinary collaborations across departments and specialties. Support for graduate medical education and fellowship training programs is also expected. They will develop innovative care models in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The individual will work with other division heads and institutional leaders to implement best practices in cancer care delivery. The role includes maintaining a clinical practice, dedicating time to leadership and academic initiatives.
