Responsibilities for Professional Dog Groomer:
- Minimum 3 years of professional dog grooming experience required.
- Maintain an upbeat attitude.
- Calm an anxious dog.
- Ensure company policies are being followed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need.
- Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur.
- Create a clean and welcoming environment for dogs and their owners.
- Cut or shave a dog's hair or fur.
- Clean the dog's teeth.
- Ability to work with other groomers.
- Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds.
- Grooming abilities with a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Calming presence to soothe dogs.
- Must be able to work within a team atmosphere.
