Anaheim Paycruit is looking for a stand up forklift driver

Monday-Friday

5:00am-1:30pm

$20-$23 DOE

A warehouse forklift operator is responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods within a warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Certification in forklift operation, OSHA safety, or supply chain management.

· Experience in process improvement, logistics coordination, or quality control.

· Operating forklifts: Move goods between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.

· Loading and unloading: Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers, and position pallets safely in assigned bays.

· Transporting materials: Transport raw materials to workstations and return finished goods to staging areas.

· Using equipment: Use pallet jacks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and related material handling equipment as needed.

· Inventory management: Verify, label, scan, and track inventory using RF scanners and/or a warehouse management system (IFS).

· Stock rotation: Rotate stock using FIFO and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.

· Reporting: Report shortages, damage, or quality issues to supervisors and Quality Assurance.

· Equipment maintenance: Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and complete OSHA-required daily checks.

· Safety compliance: Follow company policies, facility traffic rules, and legal/OSHA safety guidelines always.

· Aisles and work areas: Maintain safe speeds, clear visibility, and proper fork positioning; use required PPE.

· Hazards reporting: Keep aisles and work areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards; immediately report hazards, near misses, and equipment defects.

· Prepare and fulfill customer orders by picking, packing, and staging items for delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to perform basic math.

· Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships.

· Efficient individual with excellent time management skills.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds.

· Attention to detail.

· Working knowledge of basic tools and vehicle maintenance a plus.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:

· Previous warehouse experience.

· Prior experience as a forklift operator.

· Completion of forklift driving course, a plus.

· Valid driver’s license.

· High school diploma or GED, preferred.

· Previous OSHA training a plus.
