North Side Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC ( will be accepting resumes for the role of Lead Pastor, from August 1, 2026 to September 15, 2026…..The Lead Pastor will join our body of Elders in helping lead the church as the “First among Equals.” The candidate that we are prayerfully seeking would possess the following doctrinal distinctions, experience, and skills:

· A mature, godly man of evident integrity who meets the biblical qualifications for the office (1 Tim. 3; Titus 1)

· A genuine shepherd’s heart, present with people

A relational leader who inspires, develops and mobilizes others
· A man, not untouched by hardship, but one who’s suffering has been formed into kindness that can sit and minister with hurting people…… (Shaped by faithfulness through suffering)

· Congruency between his life and the gospel, confirmed by those closest to him and those he has led

· A man whose home and character would pass the same biblical scrutiny in private as in public

· A theologically conservative evangelical

· Baptist by conviction that affirms the “Baptist Faith and Message, 2000”

· A High view of Scripture as true, trustworthy, and without error

· Able to affirm and teach North Side’s doctrinal statement without reservation

· A compelling, gifted communicator and faithful expositor of Scripture, teaching roughly forty Sundays per year

· 10 years pastoral experience preferred

· Master of Divinity or equivalent preferred

· Prior Lead Pastor experience preferred
