Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners! We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a brand-new location.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Occupational Therapist must have director approval before any overtime hours are worked.

Assignment Details

• Patient population: Outpatient Ortho.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• New graduates will not be considered.
• Physical therapist assistants will not be considered.
• Float to other clinics is not required.
• Productivity expectation is 60 visits per week.
• Expected patient volume is 12-14 patients per day.
• Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected.

Location Highlights

Gig Harbor offers waterfront living on Puget Sound with access to both outdoor recreation and nearby city amenities. Downtown Gig Harbor features the Harbor History Museum and Skansie Brothers Park along the waterfront, and Tacoma is about 15 miles away via State Route 16. Kopachuck State Park is roughly 10 miles from central Gig Harbor and offers forest trails and shoreline access, while Point Defiance Park in Tacoma includes beaches, gardens, and a zoo within about a 30-minute drive. The area also provides access to boating and kayaking on Gig Harbor Bay, and Seattle is reachable in about 45 miles for additional dining, sports, and cultural attractions.
