Psychologist-$50K Sign-on Bonus
Our client, located in the beautiful state of Georgia, is seeking a full-time permanent Psychologist to join their multi-specialty facilities. Ideal candidates will be Georgia-licensed or willing to obtain licensure. Outpatient experience is preferred. Ability to be comfortable with all age groups, including children. MUST be willing to see children as young as 5 years old for testing.
Mon - Fri 8-5 Schedule. No on-call or weekends. Loan repayment available!
Job Responsibilities for the Psychologist position:
- Using psychotherapy to improve the quality of life for individuals, groups, and families.
- Testing and assessing patients for indications of mental health disorders.
- Developing treatment plans and strategies to help patients.
- Supporting patients who have experienced traumatic life events.
- Providing ongoing care and evaluation to patients with long-term difficulties.
- Referring patients to other specialists or doctors as needed.
- Helping patients to set realistic goals and monitoring their progress.
- Keeping up to date with, and potentially participating in, new research in psychology.
Minimum requirements for the Psychologist position:
- Board-certified or board-eligible psychologist willing to treat children, adolescents, and adults
- Licensed in the State of Georgia or willingness to obtain a license
- Testing and Therapy experience a must
- Ability to be comfortable with all age groups
