Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 total compensation (First Year)

Travel: Local travel required (Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle)

Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Customer Service & Account Representative to join our packaging team in the Chicago office. This is a fully on-site role that uniquely bridges the gap between desk-based order management and face-to-face client relations. You will manage orders internally at our 60608 facility and drive locally across the Chicagoland area to meet clients, deliver samples, and troubleshoot packaging needs on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Management: Enter, track, and manage custom packaging orders from placement to final production using our internal database and Excel.
• Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for local accounts, answering inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Local Field Visits: Travel locally by car from our 60608 facility to client sites to deliver product samples, review structural mockups, and inspect packaging quality issues.
• Data Integrity: Maintain accurate, up-to-date client profiles, communication logs, and order histories in our CRM.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in customer service, manufacturing support, or account coordination (packaging industry experience is a huge plus).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience using CRM or ERP systems.
• Mobility: Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license, a clean driving record, and a reliable personal vehicle for daily travel from the 60608 area.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and face-to-face communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Strong basic math skills (calculating dimensions/volumes) and a hands-on, troubleshooting mindset.
