Dental Treatment Coordinator

The Dental Treatment Coordinator is responsible for guiding patients through their dental treatment journey from diagnosis and treatment planning through scheduling and completion of care. This position works closely with dentists, clinical staff, patients, and insurance companies to ensure patients understand their recommended treatment, financial responsibilities, and next steps. Responsibilities Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients in a timely, professional and engaging manner Maintain a productive daily schedule and schedule future appointments in coordination with patients and dental staff Provide patient consultations and communicate information about recommended treatments, cost of service, insurance coverage and payment options Contact patients to follow up on visits and to build lasting patient relationships Ensure compliance with health, privacy, and safety regulations Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions Benefits for FT Employees Healthcare Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Paid time Off 401(k) Employee Assistance Program Qualifications Qualifications Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required At least 2 years of customer service role, sales, receptionist, or equivalent preferably in a healthcare or dental setting Experience with dental practice management software such as Denticon/Dentrix preferred Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, office staff, and third party stakeholders Attention to detail in maintaining patient records and managing financial transactions Western Dental Services, Inc. and all relevant affiliates are Equal Opportunity Employers.
