Power Bi Developer
Location: Baltimore MD
6 months Contract Salary: DOE $/hr. on w2 only US Citizen and Green Card H4-EAD only
Job Description:
1) Conduct educational workshops for client users on higher order functionality in PowerBI.
2) Develop dashboards with us "watching over her/his shoulder".
3) Ability to help us refine our reports to make best use of the components in Power BI including the best ways to optimize for both interactive use and printed reports.
4) Enhance interface of existing PowerBi dashboards to make them better looking interfaces.
5) Recommendations on the best way to utilize the interactive capabilities of Power BI, how to enhance user engagement.
6) Guidance on how to maximize the ability to reuse exhibits across multiple reports.
7) Guidance on designing an efficient platform enhancing ability to navigate between PowerBi dashboards.
8) Advice on how to optimize data structures within Power BI for both performance and broad applicability.
9) Advice on optimizing the handling large data sets.
10) Either recommendations on how to update data/reports in the Power BI service using Trundl (in house data service) directly or automation that we can use to update local reports and push data/reports to the Power BI service.
11) Enhance ability to handle time series data leveraging Python and R.
