THERAPIST (MA/MSW)

Responsibilities THERAPIST (MA/MSW) Outpatient Psych - Part time Day in a setting focusing on psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic groups and individual therapy and family therapy to individuals with serious mental illness. Groups focus on symptom management and medication management, aiding patients to function at their highest potential within their community and avoiding re-hospitalization. Qualifications Essential Knowledge/Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Patient Rights. Minimum Essential Experience Specific education and/or experience working with geriatric and/or adult behavioral health patients. Minimum of 12 months clinical experience in the field of Mental Health. Minimum Essential Education Master's degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling or a related field. Assaultive Behavior Management training required within 90 days from date of hire. Required Licensure/Certifications Current LCSW, AMFT, MFT license. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate from American Heart Associates.
