Back of House Team Member
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Back of House Team Member to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality food and service to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, along with a commitment to excellence in the culinary arts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality.
Qualifications
- Strong background in food service, including restaurant or culinary experience.
- Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Proficient knife skills and experience with various food handling practices.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
