Therapy Team Leader

The Therapy Team Leader assists the Director of Therapy Operations in day‑to‑day operations of a therapy team or discipline. This role requires effective supervisory and communication skills, competency in licensed discipline evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment, and the ability to delegate and supervise tasks, manage staffing and scheduling, and maintain open communication with hospital departments. Responsibilities Delegate and supervise tasks of therapist assistants and technicians. Assist with staffing, scheduling, orientation, training, and communications to ensure adequate coverage for patient treatments. Maintain open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to meet patient, staff, and hospital needs. Provide patient care in licensed discipline 80%–90% of work hours. Create an environment and culture that supports the hospital mission, holds staff accountable, and motivates improvement. Responsible for department operations, including measurement, assessment, and continuous improvement. Mentor and develop staff to improve clinical skills and overall performance.
